On 30 July 2025, our team embarked on a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity with SPCA Selangor, launching the campaign “BateriHub: Paws In Need.”
This campaign aimed to raise awareness about animal welfare, for SPCA, and support their mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. It also provided our team an opportunity to contribute hands-on and connect with a cause that aligns with our values.
What is SPCA Selangor?
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Selangor is one of Malaysia’s foremost animal welfare organizations. SPCA provides shelter, medical treatment, and care for stray, abandoned, and abused animals.
They also champion responsible pet ownership, adoption, and animal protection laws. Their tireless work in creating a better life for animals resonates deeply with BateriHub’s commitment to meaningful CSR initiatives.
Thanks to You, RM15,000 Was Donated to SPCA Selangor
As part of the campaign, a portion of BateriHub’s July 2025 sales was pledged to support SPCA. Thanks to our supportive customers, we successfully donated RM15,000.
This contribution will go towards Spay and neuter initiatives like Potong Royong and Stray Free Selangor (SFS) helping SPCA continue their vital mission.
A Day of Compassionate Action
During the visit, the BateriHub team actively participated in cleaning the cat areas, playing with cats and dogs, and most memorably, walking the shelter dogs, a simple but impactful activity that brings joy and social engagement to the animals.
