Warranty Policy

17.0 WARRANTY POLICY

This Warranty Policy forms an integral part of BateriHub’s Terms of Service and shall be read in conjunction with the applicable terms and conditions.

17.1 Commencement of Warranty

17.1.1 Warranty coverage shall commence from the date of purchase as stated in the official invoice or receipt.

17.1.2 The duration of warranty coverage shall be determined based on the specific battery model purchased.

17.2 Warranty Coverage Conditions

17.2.1 Warranty claims are available during operating hours at BateriHub Headquarters and all authorized BateriHub branches.

17.2.2 All warranty claims are subject to inspection and diagnostic testing by a BateriHub technician.

17.2.3 Walk-in warranties are available during operating hours at BateriHub HQ and branches. When claiming a warranty, customers will not receive a direct 1-to-1 new battery exchange. Products must first be checked by a BateriHub technician using diagnostic tools. Warranty replacements are only offered if the purchased product has been tested and deemed defective.

17.2.4 Warranty replacement shall only be granted if the battery is tested and confirmed to be defective due to manufacturing fault.

17.3 Warranty Void Conditions

 

17.3.1 Warranty shall be void if the battery failure is caused by user negligence, including but not limited to:

(a) Leaving vehicle lights switched on

(b) Infrequent vehicle usage

(c) Failure to maintain the vehicle properly

 

17.3.2 Warranty shall be void if damage or discharge is caused by external factors including but not limited to:

(a) Vehicle modification

(b) Electrical current leakage

(c) Weak or faulty alternator

(d) Improper installation not performed by BateriHub

(e) Any external electrical system fault

 

17.3.3 BateriHub reserves the sole right to determine whether the battery failure is due to manufacturing defect or external cause.

17.4 Special Warranty Terms

17.4.1 Batteries used in Diesel Vehicles, including but not limited to:

(a) Trucks

(b) Lorries

(c) Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicles

(d) Forklifts

Shall be entitled to a 6 to 9 months warranty, depending on the battery brand.

17.5 Inspection and Service Charges

17.5.1 All batteries shall be inspected prior to replacement.

17.5.2 If diagnostic testing determines that only jumpstart or minor servicing is required, a service fee of Ringgit Malaysia Fifty (RM50) shall be imposed.

17.5.3 If a BateriHub technician is dispatched to the customer’s location but is unable to provide battery replacement service due to reasons beyond BateriHub’s control (including but not limited to alternator failure or non-battery related issues), a minimum service charge of Ringgit Malaysia Thirty (RM30) shall be payable by the customer.

17.6 Delivery and Installation

17.6.1 Free delivery and installation services are only applicable for batteries purchased directly from BateriHub.

17.6.2 Free delivery and installation are subject to BateriHub’s designated coverage areas.

17.6.3 Estimated delivery time shall vary depending on:

(a) Coverage area

(b) Distance

(c) Traffic conditions

(d) Road conditions

(e) Weather conditions

 

17.6.4 BateriHub shall not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

17.7 Payment Terms

17.7.1 BateriHub accepts the following payment methods:

(a) Cash

(b) Credit Card

(c) Debit Card

(d) Online Transfer

(e) QRPay (subject to availability)

 

17.7.2 All quoted prices are inclusive of old battery trade-in discount where applicable.
